I like pizza with a white sauce rather than tomato sauce. Using a white sauce in this recipe allows the flavor of the bacon to shine through. Yum! 8+d
Low Carb Bacon Pizza
1 recipe Low Carb Chewy Pizza Crust
1 lb uncooked thick-sliced bacon
1/4 cup mayonnaise (no sugar added)
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon onion salt
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
16 olives, sliced
Make crust, pat into pizza pan, and set aside for 10 minutes.
In the meantime, cut bacon slices into about 1″ pieces and fry in a medium skillet until cooked well, but not too crispy. Drain grease and set aside.
When crust is ready, spread mayo evenly over it, then sprinkle with garlic powder and onion salt. Sprinkle with 1 cup of cheese, then cooked bacon, then olives, then remaining cup of cheese.
Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Let sit for a few minutes for crust to firm up. Cut into 8 slices and enjoy. Each slice contains about 2 net carbs.
