Chia Seed Flat Bread

I used these little flat bread rounds for hamburger buns tonight and they held up really well, but there are many other uses for them, too!  They are slightly nutty (no comments from the Peanut Gallery!) and a little crunchy, too.  They are also very filling!  Yum!  8+d

Chia Seed Flat Bread

1 egg
1/8 cup water
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/16 teaspoon salt
2 drops Fiberfit Liquid (optional)
1/4 cup whole chia seeds

In a small bowl, beat egg with a fork.  Beat in remaining ingredients in order listed.  Let sit about 5 minutes to thicken.

Spread into rounds in a greased fry pan and cook on medium heat until lightly browned, then flip over to cook the other side.  This makes 2 flat breads for buns or sandwiches, or you can make it into 1 large one to use for a wrap or pizza crust, etc.

This recipe has about 3 net carbs.
