I thought it was time to add to my shirataki noodle recipe collection. This is very saucy and filling.
Goulashi Beef & Noodles
2 lbs stew beef in bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons dried onion flakes or 1 medium onion, sliced
1/8 teaspoon dried minced garlic or 1 clove finely chopped
1 1/2 cups water
3/4 cup catsup*
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons paprika
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
Dash cayenne pepper
2 packages short angel hair shirataki noodles
Put meat in Crockpot. Mix water and spices in bowl; add to meat and stir. Cook for 2 1/2 hours on high.
Rinse shirataki noodles under hot water and snip with scissors to shorten strands a little. Add to Crockpot and cook another 1/2 hour.
Stir and gradually sprinkle in guar gum until desired consistency.
*I use Heinz One Carb Ketchup for the lowest carb count.
This makes 3 large servings or 4 medium servings.
