Orange-Ginger Beef & Noodles

Here’s another Crockpot recipe containing shirataki noodles.

Orange-Ginger Beef & Noodles

2 – 3 lbs Carne Picada* or  2 – 3  14 oz packages Beef Philly Steak
1/4 cup lemon sugar-free Da Vinci syrup
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon Fiberfit Liquid
1 teaspoon orange extract
1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
14 oz. package mixed pepper strips, thawed
2  packages orzo shirataki noodles (9 oz. each)
Guar gum

Separate meat and put in Crockpot on high.  In small bowl, mix seasonings.  Add to meat and stir.  Cook 1  1/2 – 2 hours.

Add thawed pepper strips to Crockpot.  Rinse noodles well under hot running water; add to Crockpot.  Let cook 1/2 hour longer.

Gradually sprinkle and stir guar gum into Crockpot until desired thickness.

Serves 3 (large servings) or 4.

* I get Carne Picada from Walmart.  It is small pieces of beef, but not to the point of being shredded or ground.  I also found the Beef Philly Steak at Walmart.

I have made this twice now and both times my husband commented that he liked the flavors without being asked.  That’s a good sign!  8+)
